Hey You,

I'm Vrinda, and welcome to The Gentle Shift 🪴

For too long, I’ve felt like I have no control over my life anymore. I used to live a life that others admired. Now, it’s constant burnout and complaining about feeling stuck. Between work, lack of motivation, and a normal-enough phone addiction (in this day and age), I’ve become a stagnant person.

I’m starting this blog to take back some control - and hold myself accountable as I make healthier changes and build habits toward a cleaner, more balanced lifestyle.

Making this sort of change is HARD. That’s why I’ve titled this blog The Gentle Shift. I don’t expect to make all these changes overnight. I know there will be days when I’m highly productive, and others when I just want to stay in bed. But with intention and baby steps, I know I can create the life I want - a life full of energy.

The Gentle Shift is a safe and positive space where I’ll explore cleaner living, slowing down, and making mindful changes - gently.

And look, I’m no writer. English was my worst class in high school. I like short, sweet, and to the point. Maybe along the way, my writing skills will improve - but for now, this is my journal.

Join me on my journey as I encourage myself to get back to the things I used to love, discover new hobbies, search for products that are gentler, write down the recipes from my childhood that I hope to pass along to my future children, reflect on what I want in life, and work toward achieving it.
